Dr. Gregory J. Bublitz is an accomplished Special Education Director with over two decades of expertise in teaching, administration, and program development to support diverse learners. Currently serving as the Director of Diverse Learners in Waukegan Public Schools in Illinois, Dr. Bublitz is renowned for his collaborative leadership style, strategic problem-solving, and deep knowledge of special education laws and best practices. With a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago and multiple professional certifications, he has spearheaded initiatives that improved inclusion rates, restructured programming, and enhanced professional development for educators. A husband and father of three, Dr. Bublitz enjoys cooking, coaches travel softball, and is an avid Vikings fan. He is also a loyal, albeit currently suffering, Blackhawks and White Sox fan. Dr. Bublitz is a sought-after speaker and advocate, serving as a member of the CASE Legislative and Policy Committee, a member of the IAASE Board of Directors, and Co-Chair of the IAASE Advocacy and Policy Committee, contributing to national and state-level discussions on special education policy and innovation.
