Nikki Harding
Executive Director
Inclusive Leadership Lab
I have dedicated more than two decades to championing students, families, and communities in the field of education. My academic credentials include a BS in Elementary Education, an MS in K–12 Special Education, Building and District licensure, and an EdD in Educational Leadership. Over the years, I have taught K–12 special education, served as a higher education instructor, provided technical assistance, and worked as a Special Education Director. I have also led a statewide grant, delivered keynote speeches, and fulfilled four terms on governor-appointed committees, advocating passionately at both the state and federal levels for people with disabilities. My commitment to this work is deeply personal: I am the proud parent of a 21-year-old son with Down syndrome and two wonderful daughters who inspire me each day to leave the world a better place. Every student I have ever taught has enriched my perspective and strengthened my resolve to improve the lives of people with disabilities. I firmly believe that everyone deserves equal access to a fulfilling life, and I strive to transform the systems that support them. Through mentoring and coaching fellow educators and administrators, I seek to foster environments that embrace inclusive practices and high-quality instruction. My ultimate mission is to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive the opportunities they deserve to thrive—both in school and in life.
