Dr. Mollie Bolton is the Chief of Teaching, Learning and Accountability with Special School District of St. Louis County, St. Louis, Missouri. She has been in education for over 30 years in various roles including Special Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, Literacy Coach, Curriculum Coordinator and College Adjunct Faculty. She teaches a variety of college classes in the area of special education as well as literacy. In her current role she oversees Professional Learning, Curriculum and Instruction, Family and Community Engagement, Evaluation and Research, Applied Behavior Analysis, Equity, the Strategic and CSIP plan for state accountability. She volunteers for Maren Fund, a non-profit that support families and children with Down Syndrome and has been a board member on a variety of non-for-profit organizations including The Reading League of Missouri.
