Tracy Cooper is a dedicated Behavior Support Specialist with a strong background in human services, mental health, and education. With an M.Ed. in School Counseling from Cambridge College and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Virginia State University, Tracy has built a career focused on supporting individuals facing behavioral challenges. Currently serving in Nash County Public Schools, Tracy provides behavioral interventions, classroom management recommendations, and collaborates with educators to develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). With previous roles as a school counselor, rehabilitation counselor, and mental health professional, Tracy has extensive experience in crisis management, counseling, and vocational rehabilitation. Beyond education and mental health, Tracy is also a licensed real estate agent, utilizing strong interpersonal and analytical skills to assist clients in buying and selling homes. Committed to fostering positive behavioral change and personal growth, Tracy continually seeks opportunities to make a meaningful impact in both education and the community.
