Marsha Campe is a dedicated and accomplished educator with over 36 years of experience serving students across a wide range of educational needs. She holds two bachelor's degrees from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL, earned in 1986 - one in Deaf Education (K-12) and another in Elementary Education (Grade 1-6). In 2005, she furthered her commitment to educational leadership by earning a Master's degrees in Elementary Administration from William Woods University. Throughout her career, Ms. Campe has been a passionate advocate for inclusive education, working primarily in special education. Her professional experience includes teaching students in special education, Title 1 Reading/Reading Recovery, but her passion was working with deaf students. Currenctly, Ms. Campe serves as the Assistant Director of Special Education in Effective Practices at the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. In this role, she focuses on postsecondary transition and interagency collaboration, working to ensure that all student across the state receive the services and support they need for successful outcomes. She also supports teachers and service providers by promoting effective practices that enhance instruction and improve student success.
