Public Speaker | Resilience Coach | Special Education Advocate Jenna Glenn is a dynamic speaker, resilience coach, and veteran special education leader with over 25 years of experience in teaching, administration, and educator development. A former program administrator, instructional specialist, and teacher effectiveness coach, she has dedicated her career to helping educators navigate the challenges of modern education. As Coordinator for TeachCharleston, one of the nation’s first district-led alternative certification programs, Jenna led professional development initiatives focused on inclusive teaching, resilience, and sustainable career growth. Her work shaped the district’s approach to teacher preparation and retention, particularly for nontraditional educators. She specializes in educator resilience, burnout prevention, neurodivergence, and leadership development, with a focus on special educators facing systemic pressures. She created The Five Fires of Educator Distress, a framework addressing disillusionment, compassion fatigue, burnout, demoralization, and moral injury—key factors driving special educators from the field. Through Resonant Authority, she equips educators and administrators with strategies to lead with connection, authenticity, and emotional intelligence. A sought-after workshop facilitator, Jenna blends research, real-world experience, and storytelling to inspire and empower educators. She has presented at national and regional conferences on student-led IEPs, classroom management for persistent behaviors, special educator well-being, sustainable leadership, and inclusive education best practices. Jenna is also the author of The Phoenix Cycle: A Daybook for Educator Healing (forthcoming), a daily guide to help educators rebuild resilience and reclaim purpose. Her mission is to help special educators and administrators sustain their passion and effectiveness in a demanding profession.
