Dr. LaShell Dauterman is a dedicated educator and leader with over 28 years of experience in teaching and administration. Passionate about education, she continuously expands her expertise in educational leadership and special education, with a particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Currently serving as a school administrator at West Carrollton City Schools, Dr. Dauterman has had a diverse and impactful career. Her experiences range from teaching English in Japan to instructing music and special education. She has also worked as a building education coordinator in a juvenile correctional facility and as an administrator for children with disabilities and mental health needs. Beyond her professional role, Dr. Dauterman is deeply committed to advocacy and community engagement. She serves as Vice President of the Dayton Autism Society, where she provides guidance and resources to families throughout the Miami Valley. She is also an active board member of her local Autism Society, dedicating her time to raising awareness and supporting individuals with ASD. Additionally, she conducts outreach programs, including training sessions for law enforcement and speaking engagements for community groups on Autism Spectrum Disorder. When she’s not working, Dr. Dauterman enjoys spending time with her family and contributing to initiatives that improve the lives of people with autism.
