Lisa Hamilton is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Qualified Instructor of Dyslexia Therapy. She has spent much of her career providing dyslexia therapy to students with dyslexia in both private and public schools. As the dyslexia coordinator for an urban school district in Texas, Lisa led professional development and dyslexia therapist training for staff who were providing interventions for students with dyslexia. Lisa recently joined the staff at the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia at Scottish Rite for Children as the Director of Dyslexia Education where she continues her work in providing training for teachers, contributing to the creation of curriculum, and supporting the lab school and its students.
