A graduate of the Sud-Alsace National School of Engineers (ENSISA) in France and the University of Haute-Alsace (France), Mr. Vermeersch has worked in the technical textiles industry since 1990 with the CTT Group. He is the author of several patents in addition to having been co-editor-in-chief of The Textile Journal from 2008 to 2016. Appointed President and CEO in October 2020, he also holds the NexTex Industrial Chair at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe. and received in 2014, the prestigious Award of Excellence from the Quebec Research Fund – Nature and Technologies (FRQNT).
