COL William (Will) A. Macugay (Ma-coo-guy) is a native of Ewa (Eva) Beach, Hawaii. He received his commission from New Mexico Military Institute in 1998 and served in the Hawaii Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Officer until 2002. COL Macugay continued to serve as an active-duty Field Artillery Officer with three deployments to OIF between 2002 and 2009. COL Macugay was selected for Functional Area 53 (Information Systems Management) in 2009 and has served in communication staff positions in USARPAC, 2ID, SOCEUR, USTRANSCOM, USSTRATCOM and is currently serving in USINDOPACOM. COL Macugay is married to Lyliahn (Lillian) Macugay of Kalihi, Hawaii. They have a 19-year-old son, Matthew, a 15-year-old son Andrew, and a 10-year-old daughter Dianna.
