Zack Butterfield
Zack is a mental health counselor and owner of Butterfield Counseling and Neurofeedback. He is also the author of the book Hunting for Happiness: The outdoorsman's guide to getting rid of buck fever, cowboying up and enjoying life. Through his practice and available research, we know that rural communities are really struggling with their well-being with statistics showing higher rates of suicide, domestic abuse and substance abuse in rural communities. There are a lack of available resources specifically targeting rural America. Zack addresses this in his book and in his practice based on his own background living in a rural community and being actively involved in hunting and other outdoor activities. He has been on podcasts sharing his vision of how to improve your own well-being and relationships. He offers real, practical suggestions of things to implement to improve the outdoorsman way.
