Matt Krueger began his career at Lincoln Electric in 2006 as an Engineering Trainee. He joined the Machine R&D Power Electrics Research group in 2007 and was promoted to Group Leader of Power Electronics Implementation in 2013. The following year, he transitioned into operations as Production Team Leader for the Electronics Factory. From 2016 to 2020, Matt was based in Europe, where he played a key role in expanding equipment sales and integrating Air Liquide Welding. In 2020, he relocated to Reno, Nevada, where he assumed full P&L responsibility for Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems automation business. His leadership continued to grow as he took on executive oversight of eight automation sites across Europe and North America for Cutting, Pre-Engineered, and Europe Automation. In 2025, Matt was appointed Vice President of Government, Aerospace, and Defense, where he leads strategic initiatives across these critical sectors. Prior to joining Lincoln Electric, Matt worked as an engineering consultant for Kichler Lighting Company. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
