Mike has over 15 years of experience delivering transformational change in Public Sector and Commercial organizations in a variety of roles. Mike’s clients include nearly all US federal cabinet-level agencies, numerous state and local governments, and foreign governments. Mike’s expertise in government transformations covers topics including organization performance management, structural and operating model design, strategic design, advanced analytics, financial reporting, procurement and supply chain, and maintenance overhauls. Additionally, Mike leads many of EY’s government contracting efforts, supporting commercial clients better penetrate the public sector. Before joining EY, Mike was on the Public Sector leadership team at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), including his role as the Chief Operating Officer for the Global Public Sector. Prior to entering consulting, Mike was elected to two terms in the Kansas House of Representatives. His committee assignments include Ranking Member on the Commerce and Economic Development Committee as well as member of the Local Government, Health & Human Services, and Energy & Utilities Committees. Mike also was a project manager for a large general contractor in Kansas City.
