Josh Wiener is a Senior Analyst in GAO’s Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) division and serves as a co-leader of GAO’s “Empower Me in NRE” staff development and empowerment initiative. He has led teams in conducting numerous oversight reviews of the National Weather Service, EPA, NOAA, and the Department of the Interior, resulting in improvements to the federal government’s management of Hurricane Hunter aircraft, weather forecasting, fisheries, and water quality.
