Amber started her Family Entertainment Center career as President and Owner of The Zone Family Fun Center, an FEC that she developed and built from the ground up. She continued her career working for a large corporate owned FEC. After leaving the operational side of the industry, she worked with a leading game card system manufacturer for many years before joining the Betson team. With Betson, she proudly helps locations increase revenues with their arcade. With industry experience from a small operator to a corporate environment to manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors, Amber brings a unique level of experience that few others can offer. Amber has shared her experience by serving on the IAAPA FEC Committee, FEC Education Committee, was the lead for the Laser Tag Task Force Subcommittee, and currently serves on the Manufacturers and Suppliers Committee and several AAMA Committees. Amber was an active contributor and established writer for Playmeter Magazine, an internationally recognized industry publication. She currently brings her knowledge and experience to share with other owners and operators through a monthly LinkedIn blog called #WisdomWednesdays. Because of her experience, she is often asked for quotes and comments for other articles and publications within the industry and has been quoted in FunWorld as well as published in Replay Magazine. Amber is very active in the Amusement Industry and has connections to owners, operators, and vendors across the country. This industry runs in her blood and family. Her husband currently works for a prominent redemption products company and one of her daughters has been working for manufacturers helping out at trade shows for the past 3 years. She is a perpetually caffeinated adventurer, currently living in WA state. She loves lattes, whitewater rafting, her 3 daughters, her husband, and 2 dogs (not necessarily in that order).
