Michael Abecassis is a veteran of the amusement and family entertainment industry with over three decades of leadership, innovation, and operational expertise. Beginning his career in 1990 with coin-operated vending and arcade equipment, he built one of the most respected family entertainment portfolios in the United States. Today, as Chief Executive Officer of Axiom Attractions LLC—the parent company of GameTime, Dezerland Action Park, General Vending, Pocket Change, and ERTTO—he oversees operations of large-scale entertainment venues and amusement routes across multiple states. Under Mr. Abecassis’s leadership, Axiom Attractions has become a benchmark for operational excellence, equipment safety, and guest experience. His work has encompassed every facet of the amusement industry, from game maintenance and route operations to the design and construction of multi-attraction family entertainment centers. Over the years, he has developed and implemented standardized maintenance programs that have reduced liability exposure and improved equipment safety across hundreds of machines in active operation. Mr. Abecassis has also played an instrumental role in shaping the broader amusement industry. As a member of IAAPA’s Family Entertainment Center Committee—where he was recognized as the organization’s official 'Arcade Guru'—he contributed to education programs and spoke regularly at IAAPA Expo events. He has been a featured speaker at Bowl Expo, the Self-Service Kiosk Conference, and various industry podcasts and panels focused on operations, safety, and game performance analytics.
