Rob Gaglione currently serves as a lean & HOP practitioner at AstraZeneca’s biopharmaceutical development site in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and has spent the last 20 years of his career developing himself as a lean practitioner and problem solver. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Rob worked in medical device manufacturing and commercial biobanking, applying lean and six sigma methodologies in various manufacturing and service-based industries. At AstraZeneca, Rob is one of the handful of HOP instructors, teaching various curricula intended for both leaders and front-line practitioners, as well as working on the floor with staff to coach and embed the HOP philosophy.
