Ben Mingle leads Centurion Foundation to provide healthcare systems with a framework for making optimal real estate financing decisions while maintaining their mission-focused operations. With over 20 years of healthcare industry experience as a CPA, Ben combines analytical precision with an entrepreneurial mindset. He pioneered the use of the Charitable Foundation Lease in healthcare to provide opportunities and solutions for non-profit health systems, orchestrating transactions exceeding $2 billion nationwide. Ben approaches complex challenges by carefully examining each scenario through the lenses of operations, accounting, and long-term strategic development— consistently delivering the best outcomes for healthcare systems seeking to optimize their real estate assets. Prior to joining Centurion in 2018, Ben held key leadership positions including Vice President of Finance at The University Financing Foundation, where he led higher education lease financing transactions, Chief Financial Officer for a net lease real estate developer, Direct of Finance for a large publicly traded REIT and senior roles in the real estate practice at Ernst & Young. His experience with both for profit real estate firms and non-profit organizations gives him valuable insight into the unique financial considerations facing mission-driven institutions. Ben holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Samford University. He remains focused, resilient, and committed to creating measurable improvements in healthcare financing in every client relationship. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two energetic young children.
