Jessica L. Bathon-Logsdon is a Small Business Professional with the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Office of Small Business Programs since March 2020. She is responsible for processing DD Forms 2579 and a host of other contractual documents, partaking in outreach efforts within the small business community, hosting vendor capability briefings, creating and leading training classes for the contracting workforce and industry, and ultimately advocating for maximum small business opportunities. She manages the DISA Acquisition Decisions monthly document and is responsible for the office’s Bits and Bytes quarterly newsletter, both resources maximize DISA's initiative to share accurate, timely info about DISA procurements and small business programs to stakeholders. Prior to joining OSBP, Bathon-Logsdon served as a Contracting Officer Team Lead in the DISA Services Section for nearly six years. In this role, she was responsible for a team of contract specialists with various pre- and post-award contract actions. Her federal service career began in January 2008 as a participant in the Student Career Experience Program with a focus on Contracting at U.S Transportation Command. Bathon-Logdson earned the Small Business Professional Credential, plus attained Level III Contracting certification and Level I Program Management certification from the Warfighting Acquisition University. She has a masters in business administration degree from McKendree University.
