Christie Stukenberg has served as a Small Business Professional with the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Office of Small Business Programs since April 2024. In this role, she ensures small businesses are provided maximum opportunities to participate at both the prime contract and subcontract levels. She serves as a vital advocate for the small business industrial base by collaborating on government acquisition strategies, coordinating community outreach efforts, hosting vendor capability briefings, and leading training classes for both the contracting workforce and industry partners. Prior to joining the Office of Small Business Programs, Stukenberg served for 10 years as a Contracting Officer and Team Lead within the DISA Sponsored Information Technology Services Section. Holding an unlimited warrant, she led a team of contract specialists in supporting critical procurements and expertly administered a suite of complex, premier IT contracts valued at $17.5 billion. She began her federal civilian service in June 2009 as a participant in the Air Force’s civilian Copper Cap Internship Program at the Air Mobility Command Headquarters at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Stukenberg achieved the Warfighting Acquisition University Small Business Professional Credential in April 2026 and earned her Level III Certification in Contracting in June 2013. She has a bachelor’s from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s in business administration from McKendree University.
