Mr. J. Aaron Bishop is the Acting Deputy CIO (DCIO) for Cybersecurity (CS) and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) within the Department of War (DoW). Mr. Bishop provides expert policy, technical, program, and DoW-wide oversight on all aspects and matters related to DoW Cybersecurity. He oversees the integration of DoW-wide programs to protect the Department’s critical infrastructure against advanced persistent threats, and assures coordination of cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures with other federal agencies, coalition partners, and industry.
