Scott Lampe serves as the President of Hendrick Technical Solutions, an ISO-9001 certified advanced manufacturing firm based in Concord, North Carolina. Under his leadership, the organization provides specialized manufacturing services—including CNC machining, fabricated metal structures, and electrical operations—to a diverse range of commercial and Department of Defense programs. Originally established as a division of the championship-winning Hendrick Motorsports, the company now operates as a stand-alone entity overseen by Lampe. With a career spanning over three decades, Lampe has held pivotal executive roles within the Hendrick organization and the private equity sector. He served two tenures as Chief Financial Officer for Hendrick Motorsports, where he was responsible for the financial stewardship of the most successful team in NASCAR history. His oversight extended beyond finance to include aviation, information technology, human resources, and the development of the organization's 100-acre campus. Between his tenures at Hendrick, Lampe co-founded Rise Capital, where he helped scale Pamlico Air from a startup to a 600-employee enterprise prior to its acquisition. Lampe is deeply involved in North Carolina’s economic and educational governance. He has served as the Chairman of the Appalachian State University Board of Trustees and as a member of the University of North Carolina Board of Governors, where he chaired the Budget and Finance Committee overseeing a $9 billion system budget. Additionally, he has chaired the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation and currently serves as Chairman of the North Carolina Motorsports Association. A graduate of Appalachian State University, Lampe began his career in public accounting with Dixon Hughes. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has been recognized as a CFO of the Year by the Charlotte Business Journal.
