Kate Black is Vice President of Inland Oil & Gas Corporation, her family’s third-generation energy company. In addition to managing their non-operated assets and mineral and royalty acquisitions, Inland also provides mineral appraisals and related consulting services to clients. Kate earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University. She serves on the boards of the North Dakota Petroleum Council, Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation, and the Tom and Francis Leach Foundation, and is a past president of the Landman’s Association of North Dakota. Kate lives in Bismarck, North Dakota with her husband Wyatt and their three daughters.
