Rob Johnson, president of WBI Energy, leads the company’s natural gas transportation and storage operations, guiding strategy, performance, and long-term growth initiatives. With more than four decades at the company, he brings deep industry experience and a strong understanding of the energy markets that serve the Northern Plains and surrounding regions. Rob has held a series of progressive leadership roles throughout his career; his broad experience across commercial strategy, customer engagement, and operational leadership has shaped WBI Energy’s approach to market development and system utilization. A native of Glendive, Montana, Rob earned an associate degree in electronic computer systems from North Dakota State College of Science and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Mary.
