Hunt Oil Company


Jason Kurek is President, North America for Hunt Oil Company. He currently oversees Hunt’s North America portfolio of oil and gas assets. Additionally, Jason manages Well Construction, North America Production, HSSE, Procurement, Facilities Engineering, and Land functions for the oil company. Prior to his current role, Jason was an asset manager for the Western Region, focused on unconventional development in the Bakken as well as Burnett Ranch, a series of oil and gas properties in North Texas, focused mainly on enhanced oil recovery using CO2. Jason began his career at Hunt in the international exploration group as a reservoir engineer. There, he supported exploration and new venture projects in multiple countries around the world. Prior to joining Hunt in 2012, Jason worked for DeGolyer and MacNaughton as a reservoir engineer consultant focused on oil and gas reserves evaluations in Europe and Africa. He graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, with a BS in Petroleum Engineering.
