Lauren Ness is the Non-Operated Subsurface Manager at Chord Energy. She leads a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated technical and economic evaluations that inform non-operated acquisitions and royalty investment decisions across the Bakken and Marcellus. Her background spans production, completions, and reservoir engineering, providing a strong operational and subsurface foundation. She previously served as an engineer on the corporate planning team, contributing to long-range strategy, capital allocation, and portfolio analysis. Lauren holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Denver.
