Sven Egenhoff
Professor and Director
University of North Dakota
Sven Egenhoff was born in Germany, and raised in Germany, Iran, and Argentina. studied in Clausthal, Heidelberg, and Berlin, Germany. After a 5.5 year lecturer position at Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg he accepted an Assistant Professor position at Colorado State University where he stayed for 16 years and became first Associate, and then Full Professor. Since 2022, he is Professor and Director at the Harold Hamm School for Geology and Geological Engineering at the University of North Dakota. Sven is an expert in both shale and carbonate sedimentology applied to understanding conventional and unconventional reservoir deposition and diagenesis.
