In August 2008, Justin was appointed by the North Dakota Industrial Commission as Director of the North Dakota Pipeline Authority. A proud lifelong North Dakotan, he earned his degree in Geological Engineering from the University of North Dakota. Justin is committed to supporting thoughtful, long-term energy development in the state and regularly engages with stakeholders through various advisory roles and board memberships. His attention to market detail, clear communication style, and collaborative approach help inform decision-making across North Dakota’s energy sector. Prior to his time with the Pipeline Authority, Justin worked with the North Dakota Oil & Gas Division, the Energy and Environmental Research Center, the North Dakota Geological Survey, and Terra Resources. Justin and his wife, Katie, reside in Bismarck with their three daughters.
