Chief Warrant Officer 5 David Lucy, a native of Texas has served in the U.S. Army since 1998. As the Command Chief Warrant Officer (CCWO) for U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), he is the commander's senior technical advisor regarding Army and Joint cyberspace operations. Serving as the primary technical leader for the command, he also oversees the professional development, readiness, policy, and management of the Warrant Officer Cohort across ARCYBER.
CW5 Lucy deployed five times to Operation Iraqi Freedom, twice to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and once to Operation Unified Protector in Libya.
He has earned master’s degrees in Cybersecurity and Network Engineering, and a doctorate in Cyber Operations.
