Allen Donald Jr. is a cybersecurity researcher and incoming Ph.D. student in Computer and Cyber Sciences at Augusta University. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Savannah State University in 2026, where he also worked as a Tier 1 SOC analyst. His research applies machine learning to email threat detection. For his undergraduate capstone, he built an AI-powered phishing detector that pairs TF-IDF text classification with URL and email-header analysis, reaching 96.51% accuracy on a dataset of 18,650 emails. His doctoral research will build on this work to bring practical AI defenses to small organizations that can't afford enterprise-grade security.
