Ronit Pawar is the Co-Founder of AskCMMC.ai, an AI-powered cybersecurity compliance platform focused on helping small and mid-sized defense contractors understand and prepare for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 requirements. Through AskCMMC.ai, he works on simplifying complex CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 controls into practical guidance, supporting compliance readiness, gap analysis, and the generation of key documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and security policies. Ronit is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Alongside his graduate studies, he serves as a Junior Client Device Administrator and Security Operations Center Analyst at USCA, where he supports device deployment, system imaging, data migration, hardware setup, endpoint troubleshooting, threat monitoring, security reporting, phishing analysis, incident response, and remediation using tools such as Microsoft Defender 365, Azure Sentinel, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco Meraki, KQL, and SolarWinds. His work combines hands-on IT operations, cybersecurity operations, and AI-driven automation to improve security processes and make compliance more accessible for organizations with limited in-house compliance expertise. His areas of interest include cybersecurity compliance, CMMC, security operations, endpoint support, threat detection, cloud security, artificial intelligence, IT operations, and security automation.
