Abdur Rahman Khan is the Co-Founder of AskCMMC.ai, an AI-powered cybersecurity compliance platform focused on helping defense contractors streamline Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 readiness and implementation. Through AskCMMC.ai, he helps develop solutions that translate complex CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 requirements into practical guidance, automate compliance workflows, support gap assessments, and assist organizations in preparing documentation and evidence for cybersecurity assessments. In addition to his work with AskCMMC.ai, Abdur serves as a Network Engineer and Security Operations Analyst at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where he focuses on security operations, incident response, digital forensics, threat detection, and enterprise network security. He has led digital forensic investigations, developed threat detection analytics, and supported the monitoring and protection of enterprise systems across on-premises and cloud environments. Abdur is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer and Information Science at the University of South Carolina Aiken. His work combines practical cybersecurity operations with emerging applications of artificial intelligence to improve compliance, security automation, and organizational cyber resilience. His areas of interest include cybersecurity compliance, CMMC, security operations, digital forensics, cloud security, threat detection engineering, artificial intelligence, and security automation.
