Roy Stephan is the Chief Technology Officer for SOFtact Solutions (STS) and a cyber security expert with deep experience in Quantum technology and building solutions for military systems. Roy’s experience spans decades, most recently working in Quantinuum’s cybersecurity division experimenting with innovative ways to leverage quantum computers to increase cyber security and leading the effort to achieve the first NIST security algorithm validation using a quantum computer. He also helped train government systems integrators as a part of the AWS’ public sector partner team before taking over as Global Tech Lead for Security guiding over 100,000 partners worldwide. In 2013, he created an AI cybersecurity firm, PierceMatrix, that won awards from Gartner and others by using artificial intelligence to automate security operation centers before being acquired. Roy was also VP of Technology Solutions for a government systems integrator where he worked with US, NATO, and other countries to design cutting edge security solutions including the DISA Air Mobility Testy Suite, which was used by Air Force One, Navy, and STRATCOM to secure air-ground communications.
