Vidhikala Nainani is a Cybersecurity student at the University of South Carolina Aiken with a strong interest in security operations, threat analysis, and critical infrastructure security. She is particularly drawn to the evolving role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity — both as a tool for enhancing detection and response, and as an emerging attack surface that demands deeper investigation. Her academic experience includes contributing to a smart grid cybersecurity research project involving attack simulation and machine learning-based intrusion detection. Through her work as a SOC Analyst, she has gained hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, and data loss prevention. She has a growing interest in offensive security and red team methodologies and is eager to expand her expertise at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. She welcomes opportunities to collaborate on research and is actively seeking roles where she can continue to grow and contribute to the field.
