CPT Jaime T. Bass currently serves as a Networking Officer – Task Force AGUN Lead for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command.
CPT Bass is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University and a Masters in Global Security with a concentration in Cyber Security from Arizona State University.
He is responsible for synchronizing efforts for the JRSS to AGUN migration while supporting the coordination across the enterprise and the Global Enterprise Network Modernization (GENM-O).
TF AGUN drives enterprise-scale Software-Defined Networking and Next-Generation Firewall integrations, replacing vulnerable legacy JRSS and TLA security stacks. This modernization fortified the Army's cybersecurity posture, established a Zero Trust-aligned framework, and ensured a resilient, secure network infrastructure capable of mitigating advanced persistent threats in support of global Multi-Domain Operations.
Upon commissioning, CPT Bass was assigned to the 7th Infantry Division, 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 5th Battalion 20th Infantry Regiment, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. His duties included Rifle Platoon Leader and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer. He later served as the 7th Infantry Division’s Protocol Officer in January 2020. In April 2021, Captain Bass was selected to serve as the 7th Infantry Division G6 Networking Operations Officer. Through his time at JBLM he deployed his platoon to three CTC rotations to both the National Training Center and Yakima Training Center and deployed to Palau, Philippines, and Thailand in support of Pacific Pathways. In August 2022, he commanded Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 304th Expeditionary Signal Battalion – Enhanced, Camp Humphreys, Korea. In July 2024, he served as the Executive Officer to the Deputy to the Commanding General for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command.
CPT Bass’ military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Leaders Course, Stryker Leaders Course, and Battalion S6 Certification Course, Signal Captains Career Course, and Company Commander and First Sergeants Course.
CPT Bass' awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (1OLC), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (1BSD), the Order of Pershing, Order of Saint Maurice, Silver Order of Mercury, and the Bronze Order of Mercury.
