Major Nathaniel L. Titus of Monster, IN, entered the service in November 2002. He began his military career by enlisting as a Combat Medic and was commissioned in 2011 through the ROTC Program at Appalachian State University as a Military Police Corps Officer. He accessed into the Army Acquisition Corps in 2020 and is currently the Cyber Team Lead in Strategic formations -Transformation and Lessons Learned Manager (S-TLLM), Transformation Initiative Directorate, Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Fort Gordon, Georgia. His military education includes the Commanding General Staff College, Military Police Captain Career Course, Military Police Basic Officer Course, Anti-Terrorism Course, Advanced Airborne School Jumpmaster Course, the Basic Airborne Course, and Joint Operational Contract Support Planning and Execution. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University in May 2011. He also earned an MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University in 2016. Major Titus’ assignments have taken him to the Aberdean Proving Ground, Maryland; Republic of Korea; Kuwait; Iraq; Fort Carson, CO; Fort Leavenworth, MO; Fort Bragg, NC; Leavenworth, KS; Vicenza, Italy. He has served in a variety of positions: APM of Mounted Mission Command – Transport, PM MC, PEO C3T Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; Regional Contracting Office Chief/ Contracting Detachment Commander, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea; Operations OIC, 906th CBn, Republic of Korea; Brigade Provost Marshall, 173rd IBCT (A), Vicenza Italy; Executive Officer, USFK Transformation & Restationing, Republic of Korea; Commander, 291st Military Police Company, Fort Leavenworth, KS; Executive Officer, 108th Military Police Company, Fort Bragg, NC; Platoon Leader, 118th Military Police Company, Fort Bragg, NC. Major Titus’ awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf, Army Commendation Medal with one silver Oak Leaf Cluster, Air and Space Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Service Medal, NCO Professional Development, Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (6 device), Combat Medical Badge, and Senior Parachute Badge. Major Titus is married to Dong Mi Jung; they have two sons, Dylan who is 4 and Alexander who is 2.
