Mr. Reyes is the Future Concepts Branch Chief for the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center. In this role, he develops and wargames electromagnetic spectrum operations concepts on behalf of and in conjunction with the Joint Staff to address capability gaps and doctrine challenges resulting from the evolving character of modern warfare. Before joining U.S. Strategic Command, Mr. Reyes served as a company executive delivering electromagnetic warfare solutions to the government, leveraging the absolute best talent and expertise from academia and industry. He retired from the U.S. Army with 30 years of service, culminating as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the Defense Information Systems Agency Global Operations Command. In that position, the command worked alongside U.S. Cyber Command to establish the modern foundation for defending the Department of War Information Network. Throughout his Army career, Mr. Reyes bridged spectrum management and electromagnetic warfare challenges between the operational force and institutional Army processes while serving at the Headquarters echelons for the 82d Airborne Division, I Corps, U.S. Air Forces Central Command, U.S. Forces-Iraq, U.S. Central Command, the Department of the Army G-3/5/7, and the Department of the Army CIO/G-6. Mr. Reyes holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies from Excelsior University and is a graduate of the National Defense University Joint and Combined Warfighter School. He resides in Texas with his wife of 24 years and has three children. He is the current Association of Old Crows Billy Mitchell Chapter President and a life member of AFCEA.
