Ricky (Alan) Perry, Jr., is an Assistant Director with the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board. He has managed Board projects on leases, revenue and other financing sources, reorganizations, and tax expenditures. He also serves as the staff liaison to the Accounting Standards Implementation Committee, which develops and recommends implementation guidance solutions to the Board. Prior to joining FASAB, Alan worked at the Government Accountability Office. Alan is a CPA licensed in North Carolina and a CGFM. He is an active member of AGA, serving as a board member for the CEAR program. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from North Carolina State University. Outside the office, Alan enjoys playing squash, watching TCM and updating his all-time favorite films list, and cheering on VfB Stuttgart and the Orioles. He and his wife, Erica, reside in Washington, D.C.
