Nikkie Gomez-Whaley is a strategic, people-centered leader with over 20 years of experience across the public and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning within the Arizona Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budget (OSPB), Nikkie acts as the state’s primary expert on strategic planning and statutory compliance. In her role, she oversees the alignment of Arizona’s 34 cabinet agencies with statewide priority outcomes, managing a comprehensive performance management system that bridges the gap between high-level vision and budgetary resources. Nikkie is recognized for her "collective-impact" methodology, which coalesces diverse stakeholders around shared metrics of success. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
