Matthew Keylon has served with the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury since 2023, where he conducts performance and compliance audits of state entities. His work includes both sunset reviews and Single Audits, including audits on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Department of Correction, and the Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes. In addition to his audit responsibilities, he contributes to the Office’s recruiting team, supporting efforts to attract and develop future public sector professionals. Matthew contributes to developing the next generation of public sector professionals through both his work and professional service. He serves as the Early Careers Director for the Nashville chapter of the Association of Government Accountants, where he supports outreach, networking, and professional development opportunities aimed at students and emerging professionals. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2023. He currently studies law at the University of Tennessee, where he continues to build a foundation in public policy, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
