Dr. Nicol Nicola is the Director of Economic and Demographic Research at the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, where she leads a high-performing team of approximately 50 economists, analysts, and survey specialists. She drives the strategic collection, analysis, and dissemination of critical labor market and demographic data that shape policy decisions and inform business leaders and researchers at both the state and national levels. A respected academic and practitioner, Dr. Nicola serves as an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey, where she instructs undergraduate students in business statistics and artificial intelligence. With over 15 years of executive leadership experience, Dr. Nicola has a proven track record of developing and mentoring hundreds of professionals across diverse teams. Part of her doctoral study concentrated on leadership and organizational behavior, equipping her with the strategic insight and people-first philosophy that define her leadership approach.
