FAA
Tremayne Cobb is the FAA’s Director of Financial Management, overseeing the agency’s accounting, capitalized property, travel program, and financial reporting divisions. He is responsible for financial management policy, enterprise compliance, and the financial systems that support agency programs. Tremayne serves as the agency’s chief steward for the annual financial statements audit. In FY26, Tremayne is leading the agency through a historic enterprise realignment, driving financial governance and cross-system coordination to support the FAA’s future operating model. He has advanced tools and strategies to strengthen travel budget management, improving visibility, accountability, and decision-making across the enterprise. He is also championing the implementation of AI-enabled solutions to enhance fraud risk management and payment integrity. Tremayne established the agency’s first Property Accountability Board, chartered to strengthen stewardship and accountability for the FAA’s national property portfolio. Prior to joining the FAA, he led the Department of Education’s payments team, where he was responsible for modernizing financial grant and payment systems.
