Adam Heitke is Vice President of Solutions Architecture at Virtru and a national security technology leader with deep expertise in Network Centric Security (NCS), Data Centric Security (DCS), and attribute-based access control (ABAC). His work began with the development of PL-3 applications for the Special Program community, applying ABAC and fine-grained access controls to highly sensitive mission data. He later served as the founding Technical Director for the Department of War’s FENCES program, advancing cloud-based NCS architectures for secure information sharing across organizational and security boundaries. At Microsoft, Adam helped bring NCS and DCS together, leading work on PLx and MS-ISR environments that applied ABAC and data-centric protections to secure collaboration, and extending those principles to national security cloud architectures supporting secure enclaves and mission workloads. At Virtru, he continues this work by advancing DCS architectures that enable mission partners to securely share and protect sensitive information across clouds, networks, organizations, and operational environments.
