Hybrid Cloud Broker, Hybrid Cloud Solutions Directorate (J9)
Defense Information Systems Agency
Trisha M. Huffer serves as a hybrid cloud broker in the Hybrid Cloud Solutions Directorate (J-9) at the Defense Information Systems Agency. Directly supporting the agency's priorities of readiness, campaigning, and continuous modernization, she delivers functionally relevant cloud capabilities to the warfighter at the speed of need. In this capacity, she manages cloud adoption portfolios and acts as a principal liaison to strategic partners, combatant commands, and military service branches. She advises Department of War mission owners on DISA hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises hosting solutions, spearheading transitions to commercial cloud environments through DISA’s Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability contract. She supports the J-9 portfolio, which spans more than 25 military service groups and combatant commands—including high-profile initiatives with the U.S. Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group, U.S. Navy, U.S. Transportation Command, and the U.S. Air Force—delivering multi-million-dollar cloud acquisition packages and enterprise infrastructure modernization. Huffer previously served as a Host Based Security System global administrator and application support specialist with DISA. She maintained baseline compliance, security posture, and enterprise availability for the DISA Consolidated ePolicy Orchestrator environment across the DOW Information Network. She was responsible for enterprise-wide policy enforcement, agent deployment, security technical implementation guide compliance, and endpoint security problem management across managed DOW systems. Prior to that role, Huffer worked as a systems administrator and IT specialist with industry partners supporting DISA at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. She provided systems engineering, server lifecycle support, and identity synchronization for Defense Enterprise Email, automating account provisioning and deprovisioning across defense agencies. Before that, Huffer served as a senior technical analyst and customer support specialist for the Defense Enterprise Email program at Tinker Air Force Base. She provided continuous technical support, incident management, and communications analysis for more than 4 million enterprise users worldwide. She also coordinated complex data spill remediation, monitored more than 100 enterprise servers across 15 sites, and supported executive-level communication systems for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Joint Staff. Huffer has a master’s degree in administrative leadership, a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from the University of Oklahoma. She is certified in CompTIA Security+ ce and CompTIA Project+ Training. Her personal awards include the DISA Spotlight Award (August 2025) and the DISA Hosting and Compute Employee of the Quarter (Second Quarter, Fiscal Year 2024).
