Patrick Maus serves as the AI and Data Lead for Intelligence Portfolio within Accenture Federal Services, bringing nearly two decades of national security experience across the U.S. Navy and the Central Intelligence Agency. He joins AFS after a distinguished career as a Senior Executive Expert in AI and data at CIA, where he helped drive the Intelligence Community’s most advanced analytic and digital modernization efforts. Patrick began his career as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy before transitioning to Booz Allen Hamilton to support Department of Defense clients. He later joined CIA as a military analyst, leading assessments of foreign military operations across the Middle East. His expertise soon drew him into a cross‑Directorate innovation lab, where he spearheaded multi‑INT data fusion initiatives, designed new tradecraft to strengthen tipping-and-cueing capabilities, and earned a master’s degree in data science. Most recently, Patrick served in the Directorate of Analysis’ Office of Advanced Analytics, where for four years he led enterprise‑level digital transformation efforts. As Lead Scientist in the Agency’s methodology development hub, Patrick oversaw the creation and implementation of rigorous, transparent analytic methods to address CIA’s most complex data challenges. In his latest role, he served as the technical lead for modernizing the Agency’s analytic workflow, associated infrastructure, and applications—advancing the next generation of intelligence analysis.
