Matt Carroll is the President and third-generation family owner of Hoover Architectural Products, a company founded in 1949. Having grown up in the business, Matt has worked in nearly every role within the organization, giving him a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing, construction, sales, estimating, installation, and business operations. Hoover Architectural Products specializes in custom-fabricated fabric awnings, architectural and miscellaneous metals, trellises, building façades, and metal canopy systems. The company has successfully completed more than 43,000 projects, maintains a 100% project completion rate, and operates from more than 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Hoover’s work can be found throughout the United States and internationally, including projects in the Caribbean and Dubai. Matt is also the owner of Datum Wholesale Products, a national manufacturing company that fabricates custom architectural metal products for customers across the country. Hoover and Datum’s wholesale operations supply products to companies and projects worldwide, including airports and other major commercial facilities. A Certified Building Contractor, Matt is also an inventor with more than 15 patents, including U.S. Patent No. 9,000,000. His career has focused on developing innovative products, building strong teams, improving manufacturing processes, and growing companies that provide dependable service and high-quality architectural products. Outside of business, Matt is a licensed private pilot and avid boater. He is also the proud father of two children.
