Dr. Julie Irene Bost is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Specialized Education Services at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations along with multiple North Carolina educator and administrator licenses and National Board Certification in Exceptional Needs. Before entering higher education, Dr. Bost gained 20 years of experience in public schools as a special education teacher and program administrator. Dr. Bost served as 2025 CEC President, as former Research Liaison for the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), and is a Past-President of NC-CEC.
