Mike Carey is the Architectural Sales Development & Technical Team Member at Marmiro Stones and a nationally respected leader in the natural stone and hardscape industry with more than 20 years of experience in business development, technical education, and market expansion. He works closely with architects, landscape architects, contractors, and developers to advance the use of natural stone in high-performance outdoor environments. Since joining Marmiro Stones in 2016, Mike has helped grow new markets across the United States while building strong partnerships throughout the design and construction community. With a background spanning both natural stone and concrete manufacturing, he brings a practical, field-informed perspective on material selection, constructability, installation, and long-term performance. Mike is also an instructor for AIA, ASLA, and NSI-accredited programs, known for delivering engaging, technical presentations that help professionals better align design intent with durability, sustainability, and execution. His work is driven by a passion for education, leadership, and helping others succeed through stronger projects and better industry collaboration.
