Craig Allan Ahrens is a Managing Director at Ankura with more than 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, physician leadership, hospital trustees, private equity investors, and healthcare legal firms on the systemic strategic, operational, and financial challenges facing healthcare organizations and their related physician enterprises. Craig specializes in developing and implementing practical strategies that create value for healthcare systems through enhanced strategic, market, operational, and financial positioning. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with leading organizations from across the industry, from academic medical centers and government healthcare providers to complex healthcare systems and private medical groups. His clients have included Mount Sinai Health System in New York City; Northwell Health, affiliated with New York’s Hofstra University; the Veterans Health Administration, the nation’s largest healthcare system; UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California; Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia; and Catholic Healthcare Initiatives, which operates in 17 states.
