Jonathan Mason is SCA’s Senior Manager of Operations where he is primarily responsible for all Medicare DSH and Worksheet S-10 engagements prepared by SCA and has over 14 years of experience in healthcare finance. Since inception of SCA’s S-10 practice in 2013 (developed in part by Mr. Mason), he and his team have completed 380 fiscal years of detailed reviews for 175 hospitals in 29 states and are currently under contract to complete an additional 253, for a total of over 633 fiscal years. He and his team have also completed thousands of Medicare DSH engagements. Jonathan’s experience is invaluable to SCA’s client education efforts and he regularly participates in webinars on Medicare DSH and S-10. He has been asked to speak on the S-10 topic for both the Texas and New Mexico Hospital Associations. He also oversees the maintenance and development of the software SCA uses to complete Medicare DSH and Worksheet S-10 quality control reviews.
